Olympic Games are truly a world stage. If there is one thing that represents the world and tourism it is the games. Competitors come to these games from all over the planet.

Rio is just one hour ahead of the Eastern Time zone, hence the 2016 Summer Games will be as close to live for U.S. viewers as any Olympics have been in the past when viewing outside of the host country.

From NBC:
The Opening Ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympics will air on Friday, August 5, on NBC. Competition begins two days earlier on Wednesday, August 3, with women’s soccer on NBCSN and USA Network, and the Games conclude on Sunday, August 21, with the Closing Ceremony on NBC. NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app will live stream 4,500 total hours for authenticated pay-TV subscribers via TV Everywhere to desktops, mobile devices, and tablets.
However, the majority of these events will air on their cable networks, rather than NBC.

Where to Watch:
Canada will be streaming Olympic events online through their CBC website. Likewise, The Games will be streamed online in The U.K. through the BBC website. To watch the competition on either one of these free channels, your device needs to be located in Canada for the CBC and The U.K. for the BBC. There is a way to accommodate this...
