USB-C connectivity
Laptops, tablets, and smartphones are thinner and have a lot fewer ports and buttons. And most of them don’t have replaceable batteries. Anker has introduced a high-capacity external battery that will keep your battery full on the go and includes USB Type-C ports that are now on MacBook and some phones. This battery also features two USB-A ports to feed hungry tablets, headphones, and other rechargeable gadgets.
Wireless Charging
The new iPhone will likely catch up to the several phones already on the market that are able to charge without being plugged in directly.
Enhanced Water Resistance
Higher water resistance rating - IP68 compared with the current generation's IP67
7 - Protected from immersion in water with a depth of up to 1 meter (or 3.3 feet) for up to 30 mins. Rain, splashing and accidental submersion
VS
8 - Protected from immersion in water with a depth of more than 1 meter (manufacturer must specify exact depth). Rain, splashing and accidental submersion
While that would be definitely a good news for iPhone users, it does not mean you should leave your phone unprotected. It is still a good idea to get a case for it for daily use, such as LifeProof, or when you are near the water at the pool or the beach
Dual-lens Camera-enabled AR Capabilities
Dual cameras enable a long list of software capabilities that should result in notably better photos for most users. The cameras are able to capture information about the objects and space in front of the cameras and create depth-mapping information, which is a step towards more integrated augmented reality.
