Another outdoor rink that only appears in the winter time is the rink at Bryant Park. It is located around 42nd street and 6th avenue within the Winter Village at Bryant Park. Skating here is free. You do have to pay for skate rental which is on a pricier side. During the main holiday time, this rink gets quite crowded. However, it is still a good skate if you get there early in morning.
